Overview

A visual identity for Triqis Studio's first salon-style exhibition series.

In support of Triqis Design Studio's new event and exhibition series, The Gingerbread House, Joseph contributed graphic design, creative direction, event curation and live performance.

Working with studio lead Kwaku Boateng, the visual identity was built around Nick Dunne's product photography and Triqis' existing aesthetic. The final system included posters, fliers and digital invites.

Poster System

Light, direct graphics led by product quality and event atmosphere.

Three poster variants served as the event's main digital assets. Playing on Triqis' design language, the graphics stayed intentionally light, conveying information simply while foregrounding the quality of the product itself.

Each poster featured either the product, an exhibiting or performing artist, or a combination of both elements. Helvetica was used throughout as the core font, as specified by Kwaku Boateng.

Printed Ephemera

Fliers and invites that extend the same quiet, product-led language.

Alongside the poster series, 50 fliers were designed and printed as event ephemera. The digital invites were sent to VIPs and persons of interest for the exhibition's private view.

Conclusions & Outputs

A first installment for an ongoing dialogue led by Triqis Design Studio.

In the fashion of a French salon, The Gingerbread House brought multiple disciplines and communities under one umbrella. The exhibition served as the first installment of a continuing dialogue led by Triqis Design Studio.

Across three days, more than 300 attendees were part of The Gingerbread House. The second installment is set for September at Triqis' new showroom and studio space in Farringdon.
